I have a son (age 40) who receives social security disability insurance for a condition he has had since birth. I am divorced from his mother and am in a long-term relationship. I want to marry my partner so that she can receive my social security after I die. However, I understand that my disabled son may also be entitled to my social security. Can my son receive my social security after my prospective wife dies? How would I arrange that in advance?
