Q) I need to apply for a new ssn card for my son who lost it. How long does it take to receive it.
A) According to the social security administration – We will mail your Social Security card as soon as we have all of the necessary information and have verified the appropriate documents. Generally, you will get your card within 10 business days from the date on your receipt.

Hello,
My son turns 18 on January 22 2015. He is a full time high school student and currently receives social security benefits as his father receives disability benefits.
I have his completed form SSA-1372-BK from his high school and as well as what I have filled out.
What is the deadline for me to return this form to your office ? Can I fax it in or does it have to be hand delivered by myself or US mail?
