Q) Hi my 2 goddaughters draw Social Security off their dad. I have temporary custody of them and trying to find out how to get their direct express card or an appt to go to local office.

A customer service representative will assist you to order a replacement card. You are allowed one free replacement card each year12. Unfortunately, you cannot order a replacement Direct Express card online3.
To get a new Direct Express card, you can call the Direct Express customer service hotline at 1-888-741-1115. The representative will assist you in ordering a new card.
You will need to provide your Social Security number, your old card number (if available), and your personal information to verify your identity. You may also be asked to provide your mailing address and contact information.
